ABOUT ME AND MY VISION

With over 18 years of dance experience, 11 in Bharatanatyam, 5 in Bollywood, and 2 in hip-hop, my journey with dance has evolved beyond performance into a passion for creating spaces where women can thrive. For over a year, I’ve been running workshops that may be called “dance workshops,” but in truth, dance is simply the medium I use to help women connect with and embrace their femininity. The empowerment you experience here isn’t left behind when you step out of the studio, it flows into your everyday life.

Having personally faced struggles with confidence and negative self-image many times in my life, I know how easily we can become our own worst critic. The one thing that allowed me to let go of those thoughts and feelings was dance, a space where I could move freely, unapologetically, and without judgment. That liberation became the foundation for my workshops: sharing with the world, and with all of you, the sense of release, joy, and empowerment I feel when I dance.

Growing up in South Asian culture, I saw how femininity was often confined to one “acceptable” version, and how certain styles of dance were celebrated while others were labelled or shamed. In my workshops, I challenge those ideas by inviting women to explore all aspects of their femininity, whether soft and graceful or fierce and bold, without fear or judgment. Here, your body type, appearance, or dance level do not define you. You don’t need to be a dancer, just someone with an open mind and heart, ready to leave criticism at the door and step into a safe, uplifting space where movement becomes a tool for self-expression and celebration.

I believe dance is more than an art form, it’s a transformative experience. My mission is to create a community where women can push boundaries, reclaim every part of themselves, and embody empowerment in its truest form.

“When you dance, your purpose is not to get to a certain spot on the floor. It’s to enjoy every step along the way”

— Wayne Dyer
